25 ~ 365: Guess

Have a little fun…guess what this is…go ahead I dare you!  The first person to guess correctly in the blog comments will win a prize: a hand-made glass heart from Steider Studios.

Here are some of your choices if you guess what the photo is, but I will make any color you want…… do you know what I photographed?  Tell me in the comments below!

######Edit.  Here is another clue.  It’s a 2nd photo of the same subject taken less than one minute later.  One of you was close, but no right answer yet…..

~~~Congratulations Cyndy Oliver who correctly guessed snow falling at night.  You can see her answer, #28 in the comments.  Below is the full photo #2 where you can see the trees.  Taken last night when the snow was streaming down, over an inch an hour, backlit by our deck light.  Thanks for playing along everyone, hope it was as fun for you as it was for me!!!
    Gotta be your sweet Treasure! Unless you coerced a deer to hold still long enough to capture a close up of it’s coat!
    Good guesses, that’s what I would’ve thought too. I’ll give you a hint: it’s not Treasure!
    Someone with pretty hair? maybe, but this is a stretch — a tree trunk of some kind?
    maybe wood grain? (although I still think it looks like hair!).
    Not sparks, or woodgrain. Another hint: it’s not human or animal hair of any kind.
    I’m hoping it isn’t a close up of a wandering bear… but looks to be the hair of a dog, a Treasure of sorts.
  26. Posted January 25, 2010 at 9:19 pm | Permalink | Reply
    No, no, no, no, no, no. Barb is getting warm, but it’s not a timed exposure. I think I’ll add another photo that might give you a better clue. It’s not hair of any kind, not an animal or human. I like the palm bark and coconut husk guesses, but it’s neither ~ it’s not a fruit or nut.
    Correcto-Mundo!!! Cyndy guessed it! Snow falling in the dark next to the deck light! Cyndy, send me a note with your mailing address & what color heart you’d like. This was fun, thanks everyone who played along!! (and no, it wasn’t something in my fridge, lol!)
