Passionate artist:  I produce art glass for the home, body and soul; teach others to do the same & occasionally write about it on my art blog.

Avid gardener:  A confessed plantaholic, I rearrange my garden the way others might rearrange their furniture and talk about it from time to time on my garden blog.

Hobbyist photographer:  My friend Chris invited me to join the Shutter Sisters 365 Project in 2010, posting a photo a day, or 365 photos for the year.   That began this blog until I had to give up daily postings midway through the first year when my studio became too busy to continue.   Until August 2012 I used a point & shoot Nikon Coolpix P80 which was a great camera and served my purpose.

Semi-pro photographer:  Now I use a Nikon D5100 because I wanted to improve my photography skills and get better (closer with a zoom lens and clearer) wildlife pictures, macro flower and insect shots.  I constantly work on learning to use my camera to its fullest potential.  I sell my photos in the form of  metal and canvas prints and all-occasion greeting cards.

For greeting cards I like Moo Holiday Cards because I can submit up to 25 images whether I order 50 or 250.

I’ve been taking pictures from the time I received a Kodak Instamatic camera for my 10th birthday!
